Hotel & Fleet Week FAQs
There is so much to see! We highly recommend catching the Parade of Ships (Oct 9), checking out the Air Show featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels (Oct 9–11), and walking through Fleet Fest at Pier 27 (Oct 10–11). Don't miss the free ship tours and the K9 Heroes demonstrations as well.
Absolutely. San Francisco Fleet Week is incredibly family-friendly. Kids will love the STEM Center at Fleet Fest, exploring the massive ships during the Ship Tours, and watching the Blue Angels soar overhead. Our spacious boutique guestrooms are the perfect home base for families exploring the city.
The Air Show (running October 9–11) can be seen from almost anywhere along the northern waterfront. The most popular public viewing areas are Marina Green, Crissy Field, Aquatic Park, and Pier 39. Yes! We want to make your Fleet Week experience seamless. Our Fleet Week Package features everything you need, including a $25 Uber gift card for easy transportation to the waterfront, a curated in-room snack pack for pre-show fuel, and a late checkout so you can rest the morning after the festivities. San Francisco Fleet Week takes place from October 4–12, 2026. While celebrations, neighborhood concerts, and military expos happen all over the city, the main events—including the Air Show and Fleet Fest—take place along the northern waterfront near Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 27, and the Marina Green.
Because parking near the waterfront is highly limited during Fleet Week, we highly recommend leaving the car behind!
- By Rideshare: An Uber or Lyft takes about 20 minutes to get to Fisherman's Wharf or Pier 27.
- By Public Transit (Muni): Hop on the historic F Market & Wharves streetcar or the 30 Marina Express bus; both will get you to the waterfront in roughly 30 minutes.
- By Bike: If you want to enjoy the city views, grab a nearby Lyft Bike. It’s a scenic 15-minute ride to the waterfront events.
